A couple weeks at home

Sam got a gift certificate to Toys R' Us from Christmas and all he wanted was a Darth Vader Costume.  He loves it and wears it all the time.

Has it really been a month?

Wow!  I was doing so good keeping up with my blog, then the holidays came, two trips and I'm finally getting around to updating it.  If you can believe I did not take one picture on Christmas, I know, Allie's first, I suck.  We do have a lot of video of it.  (Jason was in charge of the video, I was in charge of the camera... oops.)  The day after Christmas my dad, the kids and I loaded up my dad's truck and drove out to Utah.  We had a great time visiting family and friends and a little taste of winter.  We got home and had a couple weeks at home before we were off to Lake Tahoe to go skiing with Jason's mom, dad and Liz.  The drive was a little crazy at times, the four of us in our tiny car for 8 hours +, but we traveled safely.  We had a great time up in Tahoe and Sam is loving skiing.  We've been home a couple days now, and I'm still trying to catch up on laundry and house work.  Sam was sick before we left for Tahoe and he succeeded in getting everyone sick when we were there, although hopefully Aunt Lizzie escaped Mad Sam Disease (coughing, congestion, etc.)  Allie has been going a little crazy, learning how to crawl, babble and pull herself up all in the span of a couple weeks.  The result is she does not want to sleep because she just wants to practice her new skills.  So she has also learned how to make her mom go crazy!  Pictures to follow...
